THE CRAYFISH TOUR

Starting fresh and early departing the city head up the West Coast routing past Morreesburg, Piketberg. After a short stop over outside Piketberg for refreshments etc, we continue en route for Citrusdal (home of the famous orange citus fruit) onto Clanwilliam, where we turn left in a Westerly direction heading for the cool Atlantic coast via Graafwater (digging for water) on to Lamberts Bay. Then south to Elands Bay. Continuing south we drive adjacent to the very cool ocean with its beauty sunshine and stark semi-dessert coast line. Veldrift and St. Helena are next. A short hop form here sees our arrival at Partenoster probably the most famous Western Coastal resort well known for the great sea food especially KREEF (Cray Fish) a favourite dish for most.

After lunch we head off for Vredenburg, then Saldanha Bay the harbour and port of not only the Commercial fishing Community but the Sishen Iron Ore Depot as well. Witness the terminus / start of one of the worlds longest rail tracks. Exiting via Langebaan to the South West of Sladanha Bay. We return to Cape Town via the small village of Ysterfontein ( Iron/Steel Fountain ) Melkbosstrand (Milkwood Beach) with the opportunity of viewing the incredible Table Mountain from across the North Western side of Table Bay. Then back via Milnerton to Cape Town.
